Aphonopelma chalcodes (Arizona Blonde Tarantula) For sale!
This very handsome species is normally very docile. This is a good choice for a display tarantula because they tend to stay out in the open and are not usually startled easily. Calm and docile seems to be the dominate temperament displayed. They are certainly very easy to care for and quite hardy.
Feeding: We are feeding them hatchling red runner roaches. They will also eat small crickets and mealworms. This species will scavenge as spiderlings, so you can offer a piece of a roach or mealworm. Just be sure to remove the uneaten portion the next day.
Habitat: We recommend using a 50 dram vial or flip lid habitat for spiderlings that are 3/4" - 1" and under. Once they are over 1" we recommend something like our 24 oz habitat.
Make it a package! Our packages include a habitat, substrate, foliage, feeders, a guide about raising up spiderlings, and a 30 day live guarantee! You must choose to make it a package in this items drop down menu :) For more information about our "Complete" packages, follow this link
