Lasiodora parahybana (Brazilian Salmon Pink Birdeater Tarantula) is one of the largest tarantula species.  This fast grower is very easy to raise up and a fantastic beginner tarantula species.

Endemic Location:  Brazil

Adult Size: 8-10"

Diet: Crickets, roaches and mealworms

Habitat: As spiderlings the Lasiodora parahybana will need a small vial such as this. (click link).  Keep one side of the substrate moist and don't allow it to dry out completely.  This will be a good habitat for at least 2 to 3 molts.

It is a great breed to own, with its attractive size and excellent feeding response! This species cannot be imported so we rely only on breedings done here in the US.
