Hapalotremus major (Peruvian White Banded Tarantula) about 1/2" - 3/4" Nicely sized!

Hapalotremus major (Peruvian White Banded Tarantula) is a great species to raise up.  It is a docile, easy going species perfect for beginners.  This rarely offered species stays pretty small, around 2 1/2" so it does not need a large habitat.  Hapalotremus major stands out with its strong contrasting coloration. 

This species comes from the cooler areas of Peru and live under rocks and in rock crevices.  It will enjoy a variety of textures including leaf litter and a cork hide.
