Habitat: We recommend using a 50 dram vial or flip lid habitat for spiderlings that are 3/4" - 1" and under. Once they are over 1" we recommend something like our 24 oz habitat.
General info: This rare and beautiful species, the Homoeomma chilense is also commonly known as the Chilean Flame Tarantula. It is known to be one of the most docile tarantulas in the hobby. The species has a dark body and features a unique splash of red-orange at the base of the abdomen. It is a terrestrial species, but also appreciates a hide. Its unique coloring and adorable small size make it a sought after species by collectors and hobbyists alike.
