Bumblebee millipede (Anadenobolus monilicornis) about 1" - 2"

Description

A very colorful and easy to care for millipede.  They are native to the Caribbean and do appreciate temperatures of at least 72.

Very low maintenance

Habitat needs:
Likes to be in temps 72-82
A small heat pad can be used on the side of the habitat, not the bottom.
Habitat should have one dry side and one side that is more moist. Add sphagnum moss on the moist side.
Change substrate every 3-4 months. You will see frass (millipede poop) build up.

Handling Notes:
Produces a liquid with a chemical smell that can stain your had if it feels threatened. Wash hands right away if you see this stain.
Do not dig them out because they are soft after molting and can be harmed.

Food:
Primarily forage through the substrate. Add wood and leaves to substrate for foraging.
Feed carrot or zucchini once or twice a week.
Add crushed egg shell for calcium.

Breeding: Eggs are very small and yellow. Offspring is very small whitish looking larva.
