General info: Chaetopelma olivaceum, commonly known as the Middle East Black Tarantula or Black Furry tarantula, is a species of tarantula from Egypt and surrounding Middle Eastern countries. It is often found in homes in Israel! Females can grow to be close to 4" in size, making it the largest spider in the Middle East.
